Documents to bring
Your prescription, your carte Vitale or proof of coverage, and your complementary insurance card in date. If you have your old glasses, bring them too.
How often are you covered?
Coverage is normally possible every 2 years from age 16, every year between 6 and 16, and more often under 6. This period can be shortened if your vision has changed. Your insurer may also have its own rules: we can check your entitlements.
No complementary insurance, or the C2S
Without complementary insurance, the national health insurance reimburses only a very small part of glasses, except in particular situations such as the Complémentaire santé solidaire (C2S), which gives access to 100 % Santé glasses at no cost. Our opticians will suggest solutions suited to your budget.
Coverage refused?
This can happen if your entitlements are not up to date or if the renewal period has not been reached. Contact your store with your up-to-date insurance card: we check the file and resubmit the request if needed.
Payment
Bank cards, cheques and transfers are accepted, and you can pay in 3 or 4 interest-free instalments.
